Yala National Park is located 300 kilometers from Colombo and spans to Kumana National Park and Lunugamvehera and covers 979 square meters. Yala is the second largest national park in Sri Lanka, located in the southern province bordering the Indian Ocean. The park is native land for the Sri Lankan elephants, leopards, and aquatic birds. 215 bird species living in this area and the number of mammals are recorded from the park. Yala is a combination of a variety of ecosystems, wildlife, and nature. It is the best place for those who love to experience photography and wildlife.
